莫 奈（Claude Monet，1840年11月14日－1926年12月5日，天蝎座）是法国最重要的画家之一，印象派代表人物和创始人之一、一位将光影和色彩运用到极致的大师！
他用许多相同主题的画作来实验色彩与光完美的表达。作为印象主义绘画最具代表性的奠基人，其艺术成就更为后人展现了无限宽广的想象和探索空间。
印象·日出
1874年，莫奈参加了第一次印象派展览，展出了自己的作品《日出·印象》，这幅画描绘的是法国勒阿弗尔港清晨的风景，太阳刚刚升起，水面雾气朦胧。由于画的是光线短暂变化的瞬间，于是受到学院派的嘲笑，说《日出·印象》完全就是凭印象胡乱画出来的，印象派由此得名。
没想到，这些挖苦的话，反而成全了印象派，成就了莫奈。
草垛
光和影的色彩描绘是莫奈绘画的最大特色。在他的画作中看不到明确的阴影，也看不到突显或平涂式的轮廓线。

他说“我作画犹如鸟儿在唱歌。”他的风景画如同音乐一样，有着明快、抒情的色彩。他醉心于捕捉大自然的光与色的变化。
